WinMech is a computer program working under Microsoft Windows (presumably not newer than Windows 7) that calculates double-couple focal mechanisms from polarity data of first P-wave. The application has been developed during my PhD work for Rudna Copper Mine in Poland.

Download and support

Full version of the application is available for download using the link below. However, the development of the program is finished and the application is not support. For calculation of focal mechanisms, I recommend to have a look into the FOCI software package. Mech application works under 32-bit versions of Microsoft Windows (2000/XP/Vista). It is likely the program will work under newer versions, too.
