Patricia published a paper on 2022 Mw 6.0 Gölyaka–Düzce earthquake that occurred in Western Türkiye. In the paper she discusses the source parameters and evolution of the seismicity framing the earthquake. Her primary goal was to determine how the earthquake initiated, what was the ongoing deformation mechanisms in the region are and how the energy from this mainshock was radiated.
